Aaron Caluza
Bio
In many ways I am the prodigal son who has returned home. I was born and raised in Southern California, graduated from Valley Christian High School in 2003. I “lost” my way for four and a half years during my undergrad, opting to attend college in Ohio.
I graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Go Cougars) in 2007 with degrees in psychology and youth ministry. Upon graduation I found my way back home to Southern California.
I am currently earning my Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and work as a part time youth pastor at Long Beach First Church of the Nazarene, valet at Disney’s Grand California Hotel, and as a high school cross country, soccer, and track coach.
Above all things, though, I remain a child of my Lord and am continuously trying to unpack what that means for my life.
