So we managed to get a couple Skype voicemails, but no one shared any funny stories, so we decided to just make fun of the voice mails we did get. In all seriousness though, thanks to those of you who did take the time to call in, we really did appreciate it.
Hey so Aaron and I made the executive decision to start airing our podcasts on Mondays, so here is our first Monday episode. We know that the Real LBC is all the buzz at your local water cooler, and so we just wanted to give you something to talk about for the whole week. So we will give this a try, and see how it works.
Today we featured rap artist and community worker Chris Dunham. He is a caseworker at the Long Beach Rescue Mission, and so he came to share about what he does there, and what you could do to help the less fortunate in your own community.
Rachel Oblon from parkcrest.org joined us this week to share about something unique that her youth group did this last Sunday. It is a cool story that you don’t want to miss.

Aaron and I sat down today to record our first podcast. I think it went well. We talked about what the podcast is going to be about, and what are some things to look forward to on future episodes. We are still working out some technical kinks, but that is good news cause that means the quality is only going to improve. You can look forward to regular episodes airing every Friday starting October 9th.
We also left out one crucial detail about our show, and that is that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be recording with us weekly. Now I know some of you are wondering how we got our great Governor to commit to such a task, and well we just can’t reveal our secret at this time, but I am looking forward to doing the show with him, as I know he will have lots of great insight on all things Long Beach.
